10th Match: (actually quite a lot of matches but most recently) Me vs. Zeroskillz

I have been playing a lot and not really posting too much. I have decided to ditch the table because I feel like describing the matches is much better, and I don't have most of the stats from my matches. Well since I last left off, I was put in the Bronze League. Well since then I have played quite a bit! I have won a total of 4 matches (only 2 of them are legit, the other 2 people just quit) out of probably 10. I am rank 40 now and I have been learning a lot. 2 matches ago I played a guy, who "cheesed me" (from what I have taken, that means when they rush you with a cheap tactic) so I realized I needed to build up a defense quicker and be ready. This most recent match I was, the guy was even more of a noob than I was. He tried to rush me with marines, but I had already had multiple marines out. He built a bunker right outside of my wall to the entrance, but I destroyed it from up top without any damage. I took that out and all of his units were spread out so I sent my 11 marine army to destroy his base, and he gg'ed. It was a good match for me because I learned to be quicker with my units!

9th match: Me vs. Bannanas

From the looks of that data, it would seem like I lost, but I actually won! My first real win! It was good, I was a lot quicker this match and I had my star port up fairly quickly. He was a zerg and I tried doing a quick rush after seeing he didn’t have too many defenses, but he quickly built a small army of zerglings to hold me off. He then proceeded to counter attack (and by this time I had 2 banshees up) and he turned his zerglings into banelings. He did some damage but I destroyed his banelings with my banshees and he gg’ed because he only had that small army, and had no defenses, so it was a great first win!

Sorry everyone, I have had a long weekend and I wasn’t home, but I’m back and I had a bad game to show for it! This was TvT and I played awful. I was very slow, never even expanded to a second base. I was slow moving and I was out teched, he had his starport way before I did. He actually came in and build over my refineries early game with an SCV which threw me off, so it was just a weird game for me. I have one more placement match, I will most likely be put into bronze league, but we will see!

I was just about to play a match, and I was reading something about how important it is to scout. I figured, you know, I don’t really need to scout, it can’t be THAT important since I’m a noob and I probably won’t know a good defense anyway! Well then I played this match and I will now be scouting EVERY MATCH! I lost before the 10 minute mark even came up! I then realized, after watching the replay, that he build 5 barracks!! I was overwhelmed by marines, and didn’t even freaking comprehend that he built that many barrack. Next match I WILL be scouting and I will be trying to put up a few static defenses. 

6th Match: Me vs. Julloreyes

This was a dumb game in my opinion. My opponent did nothing but build up defense and just wait. It was really boring, I finally just built a massive army and tried to break his defense but it was insane. It was all banshees and huge auto turrets. I don’t know how to beat an opponent like this? The match was a good experience I just need to figure out how to break his defense. 

Couldn't Play a Match Today

Didn't have time to play a game today, but I will play two tomorrow to make up for it! I have learned a lot in the past couple days, so I will need to actually apply what I learned in the game!

5th Match: Me vs. Bloggins (first real match!!)

So this was an awful first match for me. I started off just as I normally would, but I was supply blocked 3 times during the match (have to watch my supply more often!) I built two barracks like usual but accidentally added a reactor to both so I usually have a bunch of marines constantly being built, but I had next to none and mostly all marauders. Well I figured I could hold out with air support until I built my starport, but Bloggins (first real opponent) attacked with like 4 void rays and took me out because I had no defense. It was a good experience now that I have my first match out of the way, I just need to watch my supply and make smart choices!
